就小就愛好攝影的林孟欣，一直堅信「影像是傳播速度最快，卻又最能感動人心的媒介。」2013年和Kuma Films 合拍了在台灣各地疊杯的影片，不僅在YouTube上破十萬點閱率，也被放映在2013世界競技疊杯冠軍賽中，給來自世界各地上百位疊杯好手觀看，成功地讓台灣人認識疊杯，讓世界看見台灣。
Ever since she was 12, Meng-Shin Lin wanted to become the world champion in sport stacking. She would practice stacking the cups until her hands were injured, so that one day she may make her parents proud. At the age of 16, Meng-Shin became the first Taiwanese to snatch the gold medal in the 2013 World Sport Stacking Championship. She brought home the title that has made the hours of daily practices worthwhile.
In 2013, Meng-Shin and Kuma Films traveled around Taiwan to record a film on sport stacking. The video proved to be very popular, as it garnered over 100,000 views on YouTube, and was later featured in the 2013 Word Sport Stacking Championship. Meng-Shin became the ambassador for Taiwan’s sport stacking team; The film enabled her to introduce Taiwan to hundreds of sport stackers around the world, but also to introduce sport stacking to the people of Taiwan.
Meng-Shin believes that no one but her alone can help her decide her fate. She will continue to pursue things that fascinate her, no matter how strange or obscure such interests are. She knows that with hard work and dedication, her efforts can help make Taiwan shine.
