古典跨界小提琴手,茱莉亞音樂學院小提琴演奏碩士。對於音樂與感官情緒的連結有著敏銳的判斷與感受力,喜愛用音樂說故事交朋友。長年於紐約發展, 並於各大國際音樂節樂團擔任小提琴首席,2010年回到亞洲,尋找音樂的另一種可能。除了陸續擔任蕭敬騰、山下智久、梁靜茹與魏如萱等流行演唱會的弦樂手 與樂團統籌外,更活躍於大型電影配樂與音樂劇的錄製與演奏。2012年因機緣於紐約結識被喻為Grappelli與Jimi Hendrix接班人的搖滾爵士電小提琴手Joe Deninzon與六弦電小提琴Viper,在他的啟蒙與指導後,踩下了人生第一顆破音,引爆前所未有的聲響。
Crossover violinist Daphne Su is an exuberant virtuoso who plays diverse musical styles in various fields including classical, film scoring, musical theater, and pop music. She received her Master of Music from The Juilliard School. During her stay in New York, she has been invited to perform in numerous international music festivals as concertmaster or principal violinist, collaborating with world famous conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Valerie Gergiev,  James Levine, Bernard Haitink, and Andre Previn.

After returning to Asia, she started to create new possibilities of her music career. She has shared stages with renowned pop artists such as Jam Hsiao, Yamashita Tomohisa, Fish Leong, and Waa, etc. In addition, she has recorded original film scores for many famous motion pictures including “You Are the Apple of My Eyes”, “Jump! Ashin”, and “Love”. She has also played in the orchestra of the ground-breaking original Chinese musical “Mulan” in National Theater.

In 2012,  while she seeks new elements and inspiration in music, Daphne traveled to New York and met Joe Deninzon, an established fusion electric violinist, often hailed as a successor to Grappelli and Jimi Hendrix, and his 6-string “Viper” electric violin. As she steps on her first distortion pedal in her life, she knows that a part of her deep down has been  awakened. There, a new musical journey begins...
